A few weeks after signing one of its new Granturismo models, ISA has inked a contract for a second one, a 43M Granturismo.
As explained when ISA initiated the Granturismo line, the concept is based on the ISA 120 and ISA 140 models, though constructed of steel and aluminum rather than fiberglass. ISA initially planned a 40-meter (131-foot) model in the Granturismo series, so new 141-footer, a two-deck affair, isn’t far off.
Just like the other Granturismo models, the new megayacht is designed by Andrea Vallicelli. She should have a 26-foot (7.9-meter) beam and 12-foot (3.65-meter) draft. Profile-wise, the plumb bow strikes a strong contrast against the softer lines aft. Inside, four guest staterooms accompany the master suite. Of course, there’s also strong emphasis on outdoor areas, a key concept of the Granturismo series.
ISA anticipates the 43M Granturismo to have a 17-knot top end and 15-knot cruise, given twin Caterpillar diesels. Delivery is expected in summer 2014.
